Un determinante es una palabra que acompaña a un sustantivo y lo concreta.  En inglés tenemos: 

• artículos: a, an, the

• demostrativos: this, that, these, those

• posesivos: my, your, his, her, its, our, their

• numerales: one, two, three, four,... 

• ordinales: first, second, next, last,... 

• cuantificadores: many, few, some, every, much, a lot of, any, less,...
